Frequently Asked Questions:

How valid is your training and certificate?

The open college validates the TDC certificate course. A simple check of our newsletters clearly demonstrates that TDC investigators undertake investigation work on behalf of The Fire Service, Police Officers and the Ambulance Service. Any inspection of other training providers material should clearly show the same level of work conducted by their students, something you need to check for yourself before embarking on any training program.

Perhaps this is why so many of the other training providers have trained with TDC and in some respect use TDC training material.

What makes TDC the main training and employment provider?

Again, anyone looking back over our newsletters can clearly see the many ways in which TDC students are employed. Those wishing to employ accident investigators based on the knowledge that TDC produce highly trained professional people approach TDC.

TDC provides investigators throughout the ever-increasing field of accident investigation.

How varied is TDC training and what qualifications do TDC staff hold?

Throughout the training programme TDC introduces the student to all aspects of accident investigation work. Qualified staff that hold full teaching status and have a minimum of 10 years practical experience conduct the training.

It may seem obvious to you that you would need to be taught by professionals. However, a simple check on the qualifications and experience of the teaching staff should be made before you enrol on any course.

Why should I choose TDC as my training provider?

TDC provides professional training and real opportunities to develop within accident investigation. The qualification you receive is in accident investigation and as is clearly shown through our published newsletters a passport to your future within accident investigation.
