TDC Certificate In Accident Investigation is recognised at national level
TDC
Training and Development has successfully sought and gained acceptance
for their Certificate in Accident Investigation covering criminal and
civil investigation within the National Qualifications Framework scheme. This has come about through TDC staff designing effective teaching methods and resources linked to achievable outcomes that fully justify the award presented to successful TDC students. The accident investigation course is structured in such a way that allows the student to gain knowledge and skills through a series of credit based learning units. The student can thus learn at a rate most suitable to him/her. The feedback we have received from students, law firms, and insurance companies has been tremendous. This really does put our students at the forefront of the ever developing investigation industry
Leading insurance company employees select TDC as their training provider
Tony
works for one of the country's leading insurance companies settling
all types of claims. Advancement within his industry would certainly
come through the gaining of an approved investigation qualification.
Tony and TDC actively encourage the mixing of students as this provides
students who are new to the industry with a greater insight into the
work while also establishing good industry contacts for the future.
Claims companies train with TDC
You
would of course expect people already in the accident investigation
world to know what is required from a professional investigator. However,
new legislation means that those within accident investigation know
the value of a valid qualification and so seek out TDC training which
provides a valid qualification.
New legislation led Andrew to gain his recognised qualification with
TDC.
When a hand truck did not help
After
qualifying with TDC, RichardÕs first job saw him investigating a serious
injury involving the unloading of a delivery vehicle. The worker slipped
from the back of the delivery vehicle landing on the upright hand truck
(pictured) sustaining serious injuries. Richard brought all his training
to the fore in order to ensure that the full details of the accident
were contained within his report to the law firm dealing with the personal
injury claim.
Stewart joins TDC
With
nearly 20 years of experience in personal injury claims, working for
some of the North WestÕs top law firms, we are very pleased that Stewart
has now joined TDC. His presence will further enhance the training which
every TDC student receives.
Our association with the emergency services
The
long association TDC has with the emergency services continues. Over
many, many years we have trained for the fire and ambulance services
with TDC students also undertaking investigations on behalf of police
officers. The emergency services are of course looking for the most
up-to-date training, leading to a recognised qualification. Over the
years they have come to depend on TDC to provide high quality training
that fully meets their needs.
TDC pick up the pieces
David
and Colin recently retrained with TDC and received a recognised qualification.
They had both attended a course which made promises of guaranteed employment
and ongoing support for their students through various companies and
agencies that had been set up. However, on completion they found themselves
with a non-recognised certificate in accident investigation issued by
the training school, and as far as guaranteed work is concerned, David
and Colin now advise everyone to read the small print and check why
any firm should trade under so many names.
Former students
David
trained with TDC some years ago, so when his work brought him back to
the area he called in to tell us how well he was doing. Working for
insurance and law firms David retains a very professional yet relaxed
approach to dealing with clients. While he was training with us his
enthusiasm for learning was very apparent and he has lost none of that
enthusiasm. We wish him continued success.
TDC joins up with top specialist law firm
TDC have joined forces with yet another of the country's leading law firms. Working with specialist teams set up within these law firms, TDC now has almost instant access to legal advice on all matters relating to the work undertaken by our students once they commence employment. TDC students thus have a direct line to advice and support while working through their investigation work. With law firms often attending our courses, TDC students really do get an insight into the internal working of both small and large law firms.
