Valid educational qualification from TDC
As TDC is the only provider of a valid qualification in both civil and criminal investigation we have
been invited to provide critical incident investigation procedure
training for one of the country’s leading providers of Health and
Safety training. The accident investigation training TDC provides is at
level 3 standard of competence. This means it is assessed by outside
educational bodies using the same evaluation criteria as that used to
assess NVQ level 3 and A level.
It is because of the validity of our qualification that other training bodies
are now seeking to make the fullest use of TDC professional trainers.
More female students undertaking
TDC Course
We are very pleased to report that more female students are undertaking
our accident investigation course and making a real success of their
newfound careers.
We hope the trend will continue, particularly with
reference to the fraud work, as females are much more adept at hiding radio
ear pieces, using cameras concealed in bags and vehicle follow procedure
Company name
change
Students who have attended another training course have contacted TDC.
Their
concern is that no awarding body
validates the accident investigation
certificate they were provided with at
the end of the course.
The company in
question has stopped using the word
‘College’ in its name and now trades
under several different names. Whilst
we regret the situation these people
find themselves in, TDC can only stress
that any individual must check the
validity of any certification before undertaking any course. If in any
doubt, please contact TDC.
Law firms teach
on TDC training
courses.
TDC takes the fullest account of the
feedback from law firms who take
on our students and/or accident
investigation files presented by students
who with TDC support have started
their own investigation companies.
These law firms continue to provide
TDC with letters of reference and
support, with some solicitors teaching
on TDC courses. Our students really
do benefit from this contact with
working solicitors who have years of
experience at all levels.
Severe burns
TDC accident investigators were called
in when a worker received severe
burns from a pipe carrying steam.
The injury became infected and will
most certainly leave scarring. In this
case the injured person was required
to attend hospital every two days in
order to have the dressing changed,
causing more discomfort.
Severe accidents
Former TDC students continue to use their expertise in dealing with serious
accidents, which have recently ranged from, loss of limbs to serious facial
injures and to death. TDC were recently contacted to provide investigation
staff to attend an accident site in Cyprus following a fatal road accident.
Graduate benefits
Our lead tutor being a graduate of
Manchester University (Masters level) was
very pleased to be given lifelong access to
the John Rylands Research Library. This will
certainly enable him to keep up to date
with the latest research findings. However,
we will be keeping an eye on his time
keeping as once he gets into the library
there is no getting him out.
TDC investigates bank fraud
TDC are currently conducting investigation work into serious bank fraud
occurring in several parts of the country. This is a very long, drawn out
investigation requiring a great deal of evidence gathering.
