Court accepts TDC certification
When one of our past students was called to give evidence in court, the defence asked for evidence of his qualification to provide such evidence.
Paul contacted TDC who provided a letter of confirmation that he had successfully completed the accident investigation course. Although his evidence was accepted, other matters led to the case being lost. Never mind - as we say, no matter how good we are, we cannot win them all.
TDC passes City & Guilds inspection
As you would expect from City & Guilds, the inspection wasrigorous with the inspector checking students’ work, internal moderation and also interviewing past students who are randomly selected by the inspector. City & Guilds external verifiers are very professional in their work, so TDC was very pleased to pass the inspection at such a high level.
Level 3 award accident investigation
All training in accident investigation provided by TDC is now at Level 3 standard with the Health & Safety at Level 2. Certification for accident investigation now shows the level of learning and units that the student has achieved. Level 3 is comparable to working at NVQ3 and A level standard. Therefore, upon completion of the course, our students receive an award they can be proud of.
Works outing led to 26 stitches
While leaving a public house a man slipped and suffered severe head injuries. The whole incident was caught on CCTV. Investigations by TDC investigators found that the accident was not as a result of negligence on the part of the public house.
News on Geoff
Many of our past students ask about Geoff who underwent a kidney transplant last year. We are very pleased to say that all is very well indeed with Geoff who began a world tour on Friday the 11th of January. Before setting sail, so to speak, Geoff called to see Vincent who reported that he had not seen Geoff looking so well in ages. We all wish him well and a great and full recovery.
Past students still doing well
We were very pleased to hear from one of our past students who qualified in 1998. After qualifying, Sodagar began his own successful business, allowing him to branch out into the construction industry. The reason for the contact was that Sodagar wished to pass a file onto another accident investigator whose location was closer to the injured party. TDC was pleased to provide the details of the claim to another of our past students who took up the case on Sodagar’s behalf.
Mother seriously injured by her son’s driving
A mother who was the front seat passenger in a car being driven by her son was very badly injured when the car she was in struck another vehicle waiting to turn right. The force of the impact threw the lady forward causing serious injury to her upper body.
A TDC investigator took up the case and prepared a comprehensive file which was accepted by the law firm acting for the mother in a personal injury claim against the son’s insurance company.
TDC joins up with another top law firm
TDC have recently agreed terms and conditions with one of London’s top personal injury specialist law firms.
Past students can now pass on clients/cases in the knowledge that they will receive the very best legal representation.
Factory accident
Burning the candle at both ends was not what the doctor ordered when a member of staff fell on a slippery floor in this candle warehouse. TDC investigators provided clear evidence of negligence in support of the injured party. Although we have very effective Health & Safety laws, the number of people still being injured is very, very high.
Law firm reference
TDC continues to establish good working relationships with some of the leading law firms providing personal injury advice.
A law firm wrote to us recently, saying:
“We have had the pleasure in doing business with TDC since May 2007.During that time we have found the company to be a reliable, honest and a trustworthy source and would have no problem in recommending their services to other organisations.”
